Control Your Lights with LEGO® Power Functions, SBrick, PFx Brick, or BuWizz

NOTE: this product uses large Brickstuff connecting plugs, which are larger than plugs used by other systems such as Light My Bricks, Briksmax, Game of Bricks, Lightailing, LeLightGo, and others.  This product can work with those systems by using one of our Dual Size Expansion Boards to convert the large plug to a small plug connection.

After more than two years of development, we're thrilled to release the successor to our popular SEED07 Power Functions power source.  While our old SEED07 controller provided only one effect (directional headlights), this new and improved version, the  PowerSpijk-S, has seven dynamic lighting effects built in:

  1. Directional headlights with variable brightness
  2. Directional headlights with one light always on, even when stopped
  3. Directional headlights with lights off when stopped
  4. Vehicle brake and reverse lights
  5. Turn signals
  6. Two-light on/off using only one Power Functions port
  7. Two-light dim/bright/off using only one Power Functions port

All functions are automatic.  No configuration or programming is necessary.  Just connect this PowerSpijk-S controller to the Brickstuff SEED06+ Power Supply (sold separately, required for operation) using the included 4-wire cable, then connect to your Power Functions controller of choice.  Finally, just connect your lights, and enjoy fully automatic effects.

Some important things to keep in mind when planning lights for your train or vehicle:
  • Each PowerSpijk-S controller requires a SEED06+ Power Supply (sold separately) to operate.  You cannot connect or use the PowerSpijk-S without the SEED06+.
  • One PowerSpijk-S controller can provide one effect for two outputs—for example, directional headlights with one front set of lights and one rear set.  If you want to use two functions at the same time – for example, brake lights/reverse lights and automatic turn signals—two PowerSpijk-S controllers and two SEED06+ Power Supplies are required.
  • You can use our range of expansion boards and connecting cables to power multiple lights from one output on the PowerSpijk-S.  The PowerSpijk-S also has one "always on" output that is activated whenever power is supplied from the Power Functions controller (LEGO®, SBrick, PFx Brick, or BuWizz).
  • NOTE: The PowerSpijk-S controller is not compatible with the older 9V LEGO train system (with tracks that have metal rails).
