This Welder Kit Includes Everything You Need

This genuine LEGO® welder minifigure is ready to get repairs going on whatever needs fixing, and our updated kit now includes a battery pack and enhanced effect controller.  Just add three AAA batteries and let the welding begin!

This QuicKit includes:
  • LEGO® welder minifigure with helmet and welding torch
  • One 6-output Lighting Effect Controller (LEC) with welding effects
  • Two Pico LED lights: one in cool white color (for the welding torch) and one in warm white color (for the part being welded).  You can add up to four additional Pico LED lights (not included) to get sparking effects synchronized with the welding effect.
  • One 3xAAA battery pack with on/off switch (batteries not included)

The illustration below shows the connections for the welding effect controller.
The first two outputs of the LEC work together to control the cool white Pico LED light (for the welding torch) and the warm white Pico LED light (for the material being welded).  As shown in the demo video below, when welding begins, the cool white LED light begins sparking while the warm white light begins glowing.  The welding continues for a random period of time (between five and 20 seconds), then stops.  When the welding stops, the warm white LED light dims and turns off, simulating cooling of the material being welded.
Using the button on the LEC, you can change the random pause time between welds.  More details about settings, including information about adding additional Pico LEDs to outputs #3-#6 on the LEC to make sparks during welding, see the full LEC usage guide.

This QuicKit is a great way to add welding effects to your city.  You just need to add three AAA batteries and your welder will be ready to work.
