Micro Video Players with Classic Arcade Animations
NOTE: This item does not include a power supply. See recommendations below.
We've taken recreations of many of our favorite classic arcade games (see below for the full list) and loaded them onto two sizes of our BrickScreens mini video screens. Everything is self-contained in the OLED/LCD module except for the power connector and a small button you use to select the video game you'd like to have play on the screen. Use the button to select a specific game, or select "random" to cycle through all of the games.
NOTE that these are only animated simulations of the classic arcade games--they are not actually playable, and the videos do not include sound.
For each game, there are two separate animations: one animation that represents the "power-up" sequence of the original game, and one animation that represents the "gameplay" sequence of the game. The "power-up" sequence plays once at the start of each game, and the "gameplay" sequence then will loop. The effect is amazing—although some detail is lost on these tiny screens, the overall effect is mesmerizing. We think it will transport you back to the 1980s!
The 0.96-inch OLED screen is loaded with a selection of 16 animations that originally played on tall, thin monitors, while the 1.44-inch LCD screen is loaded with a selection of 18 animations that originally played on square-shaped monitors.

Like all of our BrickScreen products, these screens operate on 5V DC. Included is a standard Brickstuff power connecting cable and expansion board for use with our USB power cable (recommended) or AA battery pack, and we also include a DIY cable you can use to connect to any 5V DC power source.
