We designed this BrickScreen for military aircraft modelers of all types. We created our own custom HUD animation and loaded it onto our BrickScreen video player. This screen is available in two different sizes.

We love military aircraft models of all types, and seeing animated screens inside the models makes them that much more incredible and realistic.  We created this HUD animation from scratch and loaded it onto our 0.96" and 1.44" BrickScreen as a looping animation.  The data displayed is not real or real-time, so it's just for simulation, but when mounted inside a model and projected onto a piece of semi-clear plastic, it looks highly realistic.

Each screen comes pre-loaded with two versions of the HUD animation: one in normal mode and one in "reverse" mode, which is necessary if you plan to operate this screen projected onto a plastic frame or screen (the images are backward on the screen but appear normal on the reflected surface).  A button is included so you can select which version of the video you want to play (the selection is preserved when power is turned off).

Note that this device does not project real data (i.e., altitude or orientation)-- it plays a video loop of a pre-recorded HUD animation.

Like all of our BrickScreen products, these screens operate on 5V DC.  Included is a standard Brickstuff power connector and adapter for use with our AA battery pack or USB cable, and we also include a DIY cable you can use to connect to any 5V DC power source (if you're using a LiPo in your R/C aircraft, a standard buck converter can be used to step the voltage down to 5V DC).

Here's a quick demo video of the 1.44" HUD screen installed into a Freewing A-10 80 cockpit:
The screen in the video is set to the "reverse" projection mode, so the video is backwards on the screen but looks correct when viewed through the transparent plastic screen.

Take your aircraft HUD to the next level with one of these HUD screens!
