LEGO® Minifigure-Size Arcade Console with Classic Game Videos
While it would be amazing (if we had really tiny hands), note that these video games are not playable.
Also note that this kit does not include sound. It DOES include our USB power cable--just connect to any iPad/iPhone type charger, your laptop, or a USB power bank.
This is exactly what it looks like: a tiny video screen mounted inside a minifig-scale arcade game cabinet built out of LEGO parts. The game cabinet design is by our friends at Build Better Bricks, and we took their great product and added one of our BrickScreen video screens.
We've taken recreations of 32 of our favorite classic arcade games (see below for the full list) and loaded them onto the video screen. Everything is self-contained in the arcade module except for the power connector and a small button you use to select the video game you'd like to have play on the screen (you can select a specific game or select "random" to cycle through all of the games).
For each game, there are two separate animations: one animation that represents the "power-up" sequence of the original game, and one animation that represents the "gameplay" sequence of the game. The "power-up" sequence plays once at the start of each game, and the "gameplay" sequence then will loop. The effect is amazing—although some detail is lost due to the tiny screen size, the overall effect is mesmerizing. We think it will transport you back to the 1980s!
There are five different colors and designs of arcade cabinet. We cannot provide specific designs or colors, so you will receive a random design/color when you order. Each design/color has the same 32 game animations loaded—the only difference is the color and design of the outer console.
This kit also includes one of our USB power cables, so everything you need to get your mini arcade up and running is included.
