***PREORDER October 8 BATCH*** All-Inclusive Premium Lighting Kit for the LEGO® Creator Ferris Wheel
Based on customer feedback and the continued popularity of this kit, we have decided to move to a pre-order model for our LEGO Ferris Wheel lighting kit. This will allow those who want to reserve their spot for a kit the ability to place a pre-order. We have also added our Perimeter Lighting Kit to this main kit, and we added our USB power supply cable as well, so this new kit version is really three products in one.
This is the only lighting kit for the LEGO® Creator Ferris Wheel with synchronized LEDs and external power. Why go for randomly-flashing LEDs when you can have 36 individually-controlled and synchronized LEDs that make a mesmerizing light show? And why mess with stuffing battery packs inside the wheel when you can use our kit with a micro "slip ring" that allows the wires to rotate a full 360 degrees, meaning you can power your wheel with the included USB cable and control it remotely? This is the lighting kit you've been waiting for.
Remember that this new version of the kit now includes a USB cable and also the Perimeter lights add-on kit, so unlike in the past, you just need to order this one kit to get everything you need.
The Best Kit for Your Ferris Wheel
There are several lighting kits available from different manufacturers for this beautiful LEGO® set. Why do we feel ours is the best?
- External Power. Our kit is the only one available that uses externally-supplied power. That means you don't need to mess with mounting battery packs inside the wheel, and you don't need to take everything apart just to change batteries. Who has time for that? We literally searched the globe for a supplier capable of making a small "slip ring" just for our kit-- this amazing little part allows the electrical wires to rotate a full 360 degrees, so you can have lights inside the wheel and power outside the wheel. Put it in the middle of your LEGO® city, and this wheel will become the jewel of your layout. Best of all, you won't have to crawl across your city to constantly change batteries!
- Individually-Controllable LEDs. All of the other lighting kits out there use flashing LEDs, which means you get a bunch of lights that flash at random intervals. Early on in the development of our kit, we made the decision to use individually-controllable LEDs, which means each arm of the Ferris Wheel has a pre-mounted 3-channel LED control board that manages the lights on that arm. All arms are daisy-chained together with easy-to-connect plugs and cables supplied with the kit, and the master controller is located outside the wheel. The master controller runs the show, literally. You'll love the mesmerizing effect that can only be created when you have individually-controllable, synchronized LEDs.
- User-Controllable Speed and Brightness. Because the master controller for the light show is located outside the wheel, you can easily set the brightness for all LEDs and also the speed of the light show using the handy dial on the controller. That's also something you can't get with randomly-flashing LEDs.
- Easy Set-Up. Most of the electronic parts and LEDs in this kit are pre-mounted, so you can be up and running quickly. The kit also includes detailed, illustrated printed instructions to help you every step of the way. As with all of our kits, no electronics experience is necessary to install or operate the lights-- even if you've never used a lighting kit before, you'll have your dazzling light show in no time. All of our kits are designed to be installed after your LEGO® set has been built, so if you've had your Ferris Wheel for a while, you can still easily install this light kit.
Want to see what the lights look like in action? Check out the video below. The video was made when we introduced our color-changing Perimeter light add-on kit, so it features that, but it also shows the core kit. And remember, we have now combined BOTH of these kits (the core kit and the Perimeter add-on) into one product, so you just need to order one kit to get everything shown in the video.
