Custom-Made Red LED Neon Tube Fits in LEGO Clips
When we first released our single-ended LED filaments (with a super-thin wire running from the far end to the main power end of the filament), they opened up new possibilities for using these amazing LED lights because power could be connected from one end instead of having to loop the filament back or make power connections on both ends.
Our customers who build with LEGO® frequently asked how these flexible lights could be mounted within LEGO® geometry. The filaments themselves were just a little too thin to be held in place by LEGO® clips, so we looked far and wide for a solution that would make these awesome filaments even easier to use. After a long search, we found clear plastic tubing that fit perfectly into LEGO® clips and that was also wide enough inside to allow us to run the filaments inside the tubing.
Thus was born our flexible LED neon tube! These represent the best of all worlds: super-bright LED filament, custom made by us to have power wires on one end, and mounted inside clear, flexible tubing that protects the wires and also fits perfectly within LEGO® geometry. Of course non-LEGO® builders will also benefit from these advancements as they can use these neon tubes anywhere. They’re perfect for creating flowing shapes, lightsabers, EL-wire type TRON lighting, or neon signs or letters!

Each tube has had its wires soldered to an adapter/driver board, so you can use it with any Brickstuff Power Pack (sold separately). We’ve also included the connecting cable, so these really are plug-and-play one you’ve got your power source in place. Because of the high current consumption of these filaments, we do not recommend using with our Mini Power Packs.
This is a pack of one 300mm (approximately 12”) flexible red LED neon tube with single-ended power connection. Each filament consumes approximately 150mA during normal operation, so be sure to use a power source capable of supporting this level of sustained power draw.
