Hide Your Power Control with this Compact Touch Switch
We created this touch switch to allow people to turn power in their lighting setups on and off without needing to make room for a visible button. This compact little switch has self-adhesive tape on the back (touch-sensitive) side, so all you need to do is peel and stick wherever you want to add touch control. It’s a great way to turn power on and off in smaller models or vehicles, where making room for a physical button might be impractical.
The switch module is a little smaller than a standard 2x2 LEGO® plate (12.5mm square), meaning you can mount it in any number of ways and locations.
The switch has an operating distance of approximately 5mm, or just about the same thickness as a single LEGO® tile. This means you can mount it under or behind a tile, and then control your lights as if by magic.

The switch kit includes two 50cm (20”) connecting cables—connect one to your power source (sold separately) and the other to the lights you want to control, and you’re in business! The switch has built-in high-power capability, so even though it’s small, it can control 100 lights or more.

Another great feature of this switch is that it is a true “off” switch, meaning that when power is turned off, almost no energy is pulled from the power source. This is a great way to save on battery power!
This switch will work with any Brickstuff component that has small plugs, and they are also fully compatible with components from other vendors including Light My Bricks, Vonado, LeLightGo, Briksmax, and others.
