Spruce Up Your LEGO® Palace Cinema (#10232) With a Real Marquee

Finally, a realistic-looking scrolling theater marquee for your LEGO® Palace Cinema (set #10232)! There are several other light kits available for the marquee, but all of them have flashing lights—this means the lights flash randomly and don't look realistic. This is the first kit to provide realistic scrolling lights, where everything moves in sequence, just like a real marquee.
This is also the first light kit to include both top AND bottom lights--40 lights in all, including the four front lights. Every light has been pre-mounted for you, so installation couldn't be easier. Just six light wires are needed to control all 40 lights--so much simpler and easier to install than other light kits, which have one wire for each light.
We've worked on many versions of this kit, looking for the most dazzling configuration that would also be the easiest to install. As you can see from the product photos, this kit also includes a lot of LEGO parts—55 in total—to make installation easy and fast. We've done 95% of the work for you, so all you need to do is transfer bricks from your existing marquee to the pre-lit base that comes with this kit and follow the easy instructions to get amazing results:

Using the dial on the included lighting effect controller, you can change the speed of the scrolling. You can also set brightness for all lights, so you can pick the brightness level you want for your city. You can also select from four operation modes:
If you are wondering how the 16 lights mount inside the top part of the marquee, we provide them on a thin, flexible strip that fits perfectly between the studs on the front plate of the marquee:
- Upward-scrolling lights with flashing front lights
- Upward-scrolling lights with steady (non-flashing) front lights
- Downward-scrolling lights with flashing front lights
- Downward-scrolling lights with steady (non-flashing) front lights
If you are wondering how the 16 lights mount inside the top part of the marquee, we provide them on a thin, flexible strip that fits perfectly between the studs on the front plate of the marquee:
Just remove the gold jumper plates from your marquee, line up the light strip in the middle of the long blue front plate, and re-attach the 16 gold jumper plates we provide with this kit. The lights then shine through holes in the jumper plates as you can see in this photo:
