We're huge fans of Battlestar Galactica here at Brickstuff-- both the original series and the reboot. We've recreated the iconic DRADIS radar sequence as a digital animation complete with moving icons representing Vipers and Cylon Raiders, and we've pre-loaded it onto our new BrickScreen mini LCD video screen.
Everything needed to run the looping animation is provided-- an SD card is pre-loaded with the animations in both standard and widescreen format (you can use the included pushbutton switch to toggle between video modes).
These screens are SMALL. Check out the detail product photos above to see the dimensions. The screens operate from any standard 5V DC power supply, and connectors and adapter boards are included with this kit to allow seamless connection to the Brickstuff 3xAA battery pack or USB cable. The USB cable is recommended, as these screens consume approximately 130mA of current while operating.
